Stewart Cohen

Director/photographer Stewart Cohen is known for the enthusiasm he brings to assignments. His expertise spans print, film, and publishing. He is the winner of numerous industry awards and has been widely profiled in publications and exhibited nationwide. Addicted to making pictures, he’s always out there watching for the giveaway emotions like love, lust, ambition, and greed. Who knows what he’ll find after dark?

In the cramped quarters of a moving limousine, Cohen maximized his resources by grabbing handheld stills in addition to footage during a commercial film shoot. The driver’s face was lit using tiny florescent-type tubes that were taped to the steering wheel. This miniature Kino-Flo “Car Kit” can be inexpensively rented from a cinema supply house and even comes complete with a dimmer and plug to power the unit from the car’s cigarette lighter.
